The day project is aimed for preventing teenagers from being in fear of pregnancy and for helping with receiving appropriated education. Everything is strongly private. It is not a shame anymore. The Day will be there to help you with going through hard time.

USER RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
"I'm always concerned if I get pregnant since having a relationship with my boyfriend. I can't go to get testers by myself because it is too shameful."
10대부터 30대까지의 21명의 participants 와의 Survey 및 interview 를 진행하였으며, 질문은 예를 들어 이러한 것들을 질문했다: 본인 건강을 위해 생리주기를 계산을 하는지? 생리 주기 앱을 쓴다면 어떠한 기능이 있길 원하는지? 임신 검사를 하러 가본적 있는지? 누구랑 갔는지? 의사와 상담을 해본적 있는지?
또한, 성지식과 성교육이 제대로 이루어지고있는지에 대한 조사를 위하여 간단한 문제들을 내보았으며, based on the data we collected, 몇가지 findings을 알아낼 수 있었다:
* 오직 61%만이 생리 주기를 계산하고 있었으며, 그중 76%가 혼자 어림잡아 계산하고 있었다.
* 80%의 높은 비율이 임신 검사를 한 경험이 있지만, 부끄러움과 anxiety 를 경험한 수가 무려 70%를 기록했다.
* 자궁 건강을 위해 의사와 상담을 원하는 비율은 95% 라는 높은 숫자가 기록되었지만, 실제로 간 비율은 이 중 고작 20% 였다.
* 성지식 검사에 따르면, 무려 71% participants 가 기본적인 성지식을 잘못 알아왔다는 것 또한 알수 있었다.

IDEATION
How can we help them out?
임신 예방으로부터 검사, 의사 상담, 교육과 동시에 프라이버시를 지키는 것을 목표로 10대부터 50대 여성을 대상으로, 임신에 대한 예방·검사·상담·교육 서비스를 제공하고자 합니다:

USER TESTING
User Testing
20 participants from age of 17 to 31 participated in user testing. Based on the data we earned, we discovered several positive comments we need to maintain and/or improve on:
Positive Aspects:
● 75% of participants would use the app in near future.
● 80% participants think they wouldn’t need extra knowledge or long process to figure out the app.
● 86% of participants think the app is easy to use.
● 86% of participants think the app has helpful functions.
● 93% of participants think most people would be able to use the system easily and quickly.
Improvements:
● Only 66% participants feel confident to use the app because it has too many functions.
● 40% participants found unnecessary complexity (e.g. articles about pregnancy, design structure for doctor's appointments -it could be listing rather than a visual map, daily journal)


REFLECTION
What I need to be improved as a designer?
より良いデザインを提供することを目的としたこのプロジェクトでは、ユーザーの視点を学ぶために彼らと密にコミュニケ―ションを取ることで、問題の解決を図りました。当初は、ブレインストーミングを通じて制作したマインドマップの中から、「妊娠」というテーマを決め、リサーチに応じた課題や解決方法を自分なりに考案したのですが、それだけでは物足りなさを感じました。そこでまず、ユーザーが求めるものや、それ以上の新しい体験を提供するという目標を設定し、50人のユーザーに対面インタビューを行いました。そのインタビュー結果をもとに仮想のペルソナを制作することで、より現実的な目標設定及び、ユーザーがアプリに求めるコンポーネントを把握することができました。その後、紙を用いてプロトタイプを制作し、それをもとに再度50人にインタビューを実施し、そこから得たフィードバックをもとに、アンケート調査分析および補完点を把握することで、ツールを利用した本格的なアプリ制作に取り組みました。最後に完成したプロトタイプでユーザーテスティングを行い、最終修正を経てアプリを完成させました。
